Ballantine's is a blend of scotch whiskies, distilled by George Ballantine & Son Ltd. in Dumbarton, Scotland since 1827. Its flavor is dependent on 50 single malts, four single grains and in particular, the fingerprint malts from Miltonduff and Glenburgie. It is blended out of Miltonduff and Glenburgie, as well as with whisky from nearly 50 other distilleries. It carries a fruit salad aroma including sherry and nuts with mochaccino and a buttery pastry taste.
